Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a type of blood cancer, where the right diagnosis is dependent on a complex and difficult-to-find test called Immuno Histochemistry for CD 20.With the aim of improving access this test, Dr Reddy’s runs a program which helps patients get tissue sample tested with a renowned laboratory chain for a reduced cost, subsidized by Dr Reddy’s.

IBD education and support program

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) involves chronic inflammation of the digestive tract, usually from either Crohn's disease or Ulcerative colitis. While both diseases often present with similar symptoms, they require different treatment strategies. Understanding IBD helps patients feel empowered about the condition, which eases the severity of symptoms. Adherence to therapy is important to achieve symptom free days. The IBD program is an initiative where gastroenterologists provide education and counseling about these diseases. The program provides a forum where participating patients can share their experiences and success stories, which motivate them to adhere to therapy.

Diabetes awareness program

Many patients with type 2 diabetes are unaware of their condition until complications begin to surface. This diabetes awareness program aids in early detection of Type 2 Diabetes. This helps initiate professional treatment in time and thus, prevents complications. Various awareness activities are conducted as part of this initiative, through which we touch school children and corporates. Regular camps are also organized to detect new cases of diabetes.
