We at Dr. Reddy’s consider safety, health and environment protection an integral part
of our business.
We are committed to the principles of sustainable development. As a part of this
commitment, we protect the environment in which we operate and ensure the health
and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors and communities.
We shall continue our commitment to safety, health and environment by:

- Complying with relevant legal statutes
- Conducting active R&D and technology planning in new process development to
minimize the adverse impact on safety, health and environment
- Using and maintaining equipment, systems and facilities to provide a safe work
atmosphere to our employees, contractors, visitors and neighbouring communities
and aim towards becoming an incident and injury free company
- Conserving resources and preventing pollution
- Establishing emergency preparedness
- Maintaining good housekeeping in our premises
- Creating safety, health and environmental awareness and developing the required
level of knowledge and skills in all employees through need based training and
internal communication
- Continually improving safety, health and environmental aspects through objectives,
targets, management programs, audits and reviews.

All employees are responsible for being aware about safety, health and environment
needs in their areas of work. We expect them to participate actively in developing
solutions to fulfill these needs and establish a high level of safety, health and environment
performance.
The SHE policy shall be communicated to all employees and will also be made available
to the public on request.
In order to implement various elements of our SHE Policy we have created the suitable organization structure for SHE Management System.
