At Dr. Reddy’s, the end result of our leadership development effort is to create space, resources and circumstances within the work scope and beyond so everyone can:
- Learn from within the organisation: learn from handpicked mentors and buddies, team leaders and from offline and online courses ongoing at the Leadership Academy all year round.
- Interface with industry and sector peers: to update on new developments, discuss challenges faced by other corporates and MNCs, and learn through thought leaders at several national and international forums.
- Learn by doing: shifting streams and leapfrogging into other verticals and horizontals to pit their wits, skills and qualifications by signing up for internal postings and job opportunities.
- Subscribe to other robust channels of learning: alliances with professional institutions, membership of well-known associations and clubs, and pursuing courses while working that enable higher and more experiential learning from reputed institutes,
Underlying the efforts, however, is a thin but unbreachable fine line. No training or learning calendar (unless it is a stipulated technical training) is enforced.
