At Dr. Reddy’s, we have created a management system that facilitates the implementation of a focused SHE program:
- Sustainability and SHE Head for each plant drives all SHE initiatives in the plant, reporting directly to the plant head.
- At the corporate office, the Corporate SHE head conceptualizes, coordinates and drives SHE activities and initiatives.
He reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). - SHE reviews are conducted periodically at various levels for the organization.
Comprehensive corporate documentation discipline represents the heart of a successful SHE program, and this consists of Directives (what needs to be done), Guidelines (how it needs to be done) and Information (additional knowledge that enhances SHE effectiveness). Various internal publications are used for ensuring the uniform approach and effective implementation of the SHE Programme.
The effective implementation of SHE programme has helped us in carrying out our operations in the way that helps in minimizing the environmental impact.
