Launches Reditux™ (Rituximab) – the world’s first biosimilar of a monoclonal antibody

Dr. Reddy’s Launches Reditux™, our brand of rituximab, a monoclonal antibody (MAb) used in the treatment of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Reditux™ is the world’s first monoclonal antibody (MAb) biosimilar. The launch event was held in Hyderabad on 27th April 2007 with over 100 leading oncologists from the country attending event.

Balaglitazone (DRF 2593) enters Phase III of clinical trials

Dr. Reddy’s and Rheoscience commence the first Phase III clinical trial of Balaglitazone (DRF 2593), a novel TZD candidate for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. The study is the first in a series of planned Phase III trials which will investigate the safety and efficacy of Balaglitazone, as an oral anti-diabetic drug. Balaglitazone becomes the most advanced NCE from India.
