Acquires American Remedies in India

Dr. Reddy’s acquires American Remedies Limited (ARL) and the combined entity occupies 5th Rank in India as per ORG. The acquisition helps Dr. Reddy’s focus on improving the efficacy of co-prescribed drugs.

American Remedies’ products complement and enriches Dr. Reddy’s portfolio and strengthens Dr. Reddy's marketing and distribution network.

Incorporated in 1986, American Remedies Limited has a turnover of Rs.92 crore for the fiscal 1999-2000. It had earned itself a name for its innovative marketing strategies and for pioneering the concept of nutraceuticals in India. American Remedies Limited’s strong portfolios of brands like Mucolite, Antoxid, BioE, Becozinc, GLA and Optisulin, among others become part of Dr. Reddy’s.
